About The Ship Hotel
We are a local team who have committed to developing The Ship back into a hotel and restaurant with a traditional pub as the main focus. We have now converted the basement into a sports and games bar. The ground floor is the main bar area with pub dining whilst the first floor houses our events kitchen and The Lookout Restaurant. We also have five en-suite guests bedrooms on the first and second floors. All unique and quirky as fitting to a 300 year old building! We are always doing everything we can to keep the wonderful building alive and kicking! It is an ongoing project and we still have lots more we would love to do.
Below Deck - now open
Sports Bar - Formally Cruzers Nightclub; now a dedicated sports bar with two superleague pool tables and four championship dart boards as well as screens. We also have the option of a skittle alley. New Sports teams are welcome and this room is available to book for private parties - it has its own entrance and full bar.
Main Deck
Pub and Cafe - Traditional Pub with free pool play and dart board, screens for viewing and comfortable seating. Wide range of draught lagers and ciders, spirits and soft drinks and shortly our new hot drinks menu and bar snacks.
The Lookout Restaurant
Restaurant - First floor dining room with large windows overlooking the high street. Also available for private hire. Access to private bar and bathroom facilities. Food Service: Monday to Thursday 11am - 9pm Friday and Saturday 9am - 9pm; Sunday 10am - 11.30am Breakfast 12.30pm - 3pm Roast 5pm - 8pm Pub Menu
