About The Ship Hotel
We are a local team who have committed to developing The Ship back into a hotel and restaurant with a traditional pub as the main focus. We have now converted the basement into a sports and games bar. The ground floor is the main bar area with pub dining whilst the first floor houses our events kitchen and The Lookout Restaurant. We also have five en-suite guests bedrooms on the first and second floors. All unique and quirky as fitting to a 300 year old building! We are always doing everything we can to keep the wonderful building alive and kicking! It is an ongoing project and we still have lots more we would love to do.
Below Deck - now open
Sports Bar - Formally Cruzers Nightclub; now a dedicated sports bar with two superleague pool tables and two championship dart boards as well as screens TNT Sport. We also have the option of a skittle alley. New Sports teams are welcome.
Main Deck
Pub and Cafe - Traditional Pub with free pool play and dart board, screens for TNT Sport viewing and comfortable seating. Wide range of draught lagers and ciders, spirits and soft drinks and shortly our new hot drinks menu and bar snacks.
The Lookout Restaurant
Restaurant - First floor dining room with large windows overlooking the high street. Also available for private hire. Access to private bar and bathroom facilities. Food Service: Monday to Thursday 11am - 9pm, Friday and Saturday 9am - 9pm; Sunday 12.30pm - 3pm

Order and table service for drinks and desserts on the night Hosted by Pauline Eyre - “Pauline’s warm wit and honest charm has made her a favourite with our audiences.” – The Poodle Club Opening with Sandi Smith - Bursting onto the scene 12 years ago, Sandi quickly proved her comedic chops, reaching the semi-finals of Funny Women and the heats of the BBC New Comedy Awards within just six months of starting out. Middle Acts with Ems Coombes and Marina O’Shea Ems is a stand up comedian based in Totnes. She has been visiting many places with her jaunty ditties and her affable outlook for 10 years. She is a Disabled comedian but that doesn’t dictate her material, although being Disabled is fantastic fodder for funniness, especially when you are a ‘cantankerous little sod’ (her Dad). After seven glorious years of touring as part of O&O Comedy Duo, I’m now a comedian performing around the UK, now in stand up as well as character comedy!
